The 18th annual FAR-West conference will take place October 14-16 and will be entirely virtual, allowing for an even greater reach for the FAR-West community. FAR-West encompasses CA, HI, OR, WA, UT, ID, NV, WY, MT, AK, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, BC, the Yukon, and Northwest Territories.
This year’s theme, #forwardwithfolk, embraces their movement forward in adapting to a changing world while still showcasing past conference traditions such as the Venue’s Choice Concert, FAR-WestTeaches (Panels), Guerilla Showcases, and awards for the Best of The West while introducing Campfires, Community Spotlights, Peer Sessions, and a Special Humanitarian Honoree. Registration opens Monday, August 2nd.
