Music Policy Forum: Live

This week on Music Policy Forum: Live we look West to explore how music and cultural leaders in Albuquerque and Boise are navigating this year and preparing for the future. Host Michael Bracy will be joined by Albuquerque Department of Culture Deputy Director Hakim Bellamy, Marisol Encinias, and Annie D’Orazio from the National Institute of Flamenco, and Gathering of Nations co-founder Derek Matthews to discuss virtual events, sustaining community during the pandemic, and building for the future. Then Treefort Music Fest Director Eric Gilbert will join us to talk about the Boise scene, Treefort’s announcement about 2021 and 2022 dates, and everything necessary to mount a successful festival in a time of recovery.
